Eight years May 31, 2005
Did you know that as of today Geralyn and I have been married for eight years? What's more, we dated for a long time before getting married, so we've actually been a couple for over fourteen years. Before long we'll have been together for over half our entire lives!
Let's hear it for beating the statstical odds!

Congrats! Sue and I are coming up on our 8th anniversary this year as well, but only a mere 10 years in total. Given that you have been together for over 14 years and we have all known each other for longer then that is also hard to believe.

Thanks, all! I still remember the first time I saw Geralyn. She was wearing a purple cotton shirt and blue jeans. It was 7:43 P.M. Central standard time and the temperature was 73 degrees Farenheit with a mild southwestern breeze of five mph. A rerun of The Dukes of Hazard was playing in the background and someone was playing Janice Joplin down the hall. Ger took one look at me, swooned, and pressed her rosy cheek against my MASSIVE PECTORAL MUSCLES as I swept my long, luxurious hair back and smelled the salty sea air from the prow of my pirate ship.
I'll never forget it.

Interesting version, Jamie! I seem to remember walking to class on campus one afternoon, turning around and seeing you walking a few yards behind me
for the 3rd time that day. I said, Jamie are you following me?! And you just kind of laughed. Looking back, now that I think about it, I think you WERE following me! :)
